So a new semester has started which means a new course. This year the courses are a bit longer and there are no more 7.5 credit courses which means that more time and knowledge will be put into the subject and in a sense more meaningful skills are developed. This course is called interactivity.
So the overall purpose is “To better understand & craft the interaction of interaction design”. It’s a large statement and boundaries are not specifically defined but there is detailed learning outcomes that can steer the path into the right direction. I treat part of interaction as something that is between the user and the product. Interaction can be seen as a very dynamic and complex medium which can and should invite people to have some form of a usability out of something. The level of invitation can vary greatly depending on the design of the product.
